Against Highland Creek’s Chesapeakes

Im wondering if the Sperry’s Boat shoes are better quality than the knock offs…

help 😀

The Sperry’s are better quality however, the Highland Creek’s are more comfortable and easier to break in. I have both but I prefer the Sperry’s because they hold there shape better and look of better quality material.

They are. Go with the real ones, not the knockoffs. =)

The Sperry’s last longer, and are made of better materials and are of higher quality. However, the knockoffs look the same and Sperry’s wear off over time anyways. I would get the knockoffs.

i think that sperrys are wwwwwaaaaaayyyyy better because highland creek after a few months they look like you put them though a paper stredder( my friend bought a pair in february and now they look horriable and all she did was walk in the rain) so my opinion is get sperrys.!c(=

personally, I prefer the Highlands. I don’t like how far the Sperrys come up on the foot and I think they actually look better than the Sperrys. As others have mentioned they are much more comfortable. And I don’t agree that they look cheap because people constantly tell me nice Sperrys– when what they mean are nice boat shoes. Plus you can’t beat $40!!

I have just purchased a pair of Highland Creek’s Chesapeakes
and would appreciate ideas on care of the leather uppers… treating with a leather creme or oil to keep them supple?

    — just purchased the Highland Creek Ports to replace an old pair of Sperrys. I never did like them. They may be the yuppie footwear of choice, but they aren’t even a little comfortable. These new Highland Creek shoes have a much better arch support & cushion in the footbed. I haven’t had them in the mud yet, but they seem to be wearing well.
