Should I wear socks with my boat shoes?

Male
I have some new blue and white boat shoes
I want to wear them with jeans
Do you wear socks with them or go barefoot?

Unless your feet and lower legs are extremely pale, do not wear socks, especially if the boat shoes are blue and white. And avoid socks once they are on the loose side, as seems to happen for those of my friends who are partial to boat shoes.

Socks and Top siders or boat shoes matching.
Only wear ankle socks about you ankle bone (but not below it) if you are wearing them with shorts.
If they are brown leather or beige suede or camel, black socks will always look good with them. Navy blue, purple, dark green, red, emerald and turquoise ankle socks, can look very cool and sassy but watch out for the matching t-shirts or shorts that agrees with them, example turquoise t-shirt and turquoise ankle socks.
Gray socks are a good toned down version of the “evergreen” black sock. There can also be cool colored versions of the boat shoe, like navy blue and bright red, guess what ankle socks will look cool with them, that is the most unexpected…
    White ankle socks!!
Yes the dreaded white socks, will be a fresh youthful touch matching with these colors, especially if they have white laces and/or soles. But only wear white socks if you are wearing them with shorts.
