Does anyone know what kind of boat shoes Ezra Koenig (from Vampire Weekend) wears? P.S. they aren’t Sperry’s.?

His shoes have a little green tag on them, I can’t figure out what brand they are. Thanks!

I’ve been following Vampire Weekend on and off this year. When I’ve seen them on the Internet, TV, and in photographs, I haven’t seen any Boat Shoes / sneakers. I did see one of them wearing Adidas Campus sneakers.

I suspect they own / wear different shoes and wear them at will. Thus we don’t see a consistent wearing of one boat shoe from performance to performance.

A green tag would lead me to suspect the shoes are Dunlap, Supra, or Lacoste sneakers.

When I look at photographs on the net of Ezra Koenig is wearing different shoes. Some of them are the standard Brown leather Boat Shoes you see many people wearing. These could very easily be Sperry, but they aren’t the ones you’re discussing as they don’t have a Green tag on them.
