Is it ok to wear "boat" shoes if you’re not on a boat and doing boating stuff?

if you are talking about sperrys then yes… people wear them all the time for casual wear… its not uncommon…

If people can get away with wearing hideous garden shoes like Crocs, then you can def. pull off wearing boating shoes on a regular day. I use to wear my Sperrys all the time. Not so much now, tho, since they are on their way out.

No, you must wear "house" shoes at the house and "boat" shoes while underway. I’m only kidding of course. ;)

Yes you can wear boat shoes, but try wearing Keds instead of Sperry, they’re much cuter
