These are the first Sperrys I’ve ever gotten and with every step they puff air up my ankle. Like really puff air, I could live with feeling it but I, and everyone around me, can hear it.
I’m very flat footed and my feet kinda cock outward, like the opposite of pigeon toed.
Will this stop when they break in? Or should I return these shoes right away?
It does not make the sound if I wear socks, but those just look stupid with Sperrys.

Your Sperry’s must be to big for you! Try returning them for a smaller size.
If they aren’t to big, then try tightening all of the laces around the whole shoe.
If this does not help, then go & buy some of the socks you wear with flats. They are little socks that are cut to where they can’t be seen with Sperrys’. Journeys, shoe carnival, hibbett sports, & other shoe stores sell them.

You could buy ‘Invisible’ socks? They are like socks but dont cover the whole top of the foot.
