This is the third song on the Alaska album cd by Between the Buried and Me called Corkies and Boatshoes.
Here are the lyrics to the song:
Croakies
Boatshoes
Collars up
Daddy’s money increased my social status
“Dang, my loafer got smudged”
We are the suburban elite
“Hey where y’all wanna meet?”
I’ve got something to prove man
I’ve really gotten something to prove
Dude…brah…lets go party tonight
Maybe start another fight
But its alright, my coach knows the sheriff
Don’t stare
At my car
At my shirt
At my girl
Duration : 0:2:29

Fuckin’ love this song! You guys can hate it tho. Everyone has an opinion
this is one of my …
this is one of my favorite btbam songs….this is the nastiest, meanest sounding song they ever did.
Actually this song …
Actually this song is one of the weirdest yet awesome sounding songs I have ever heard!!!
Well put. I love …
Well put. I love how some of the songs sound really heavy and then they turn it into a beautiful song.
I’ll be uploading all of the other albums later by the way.
That’s pretty much …
That’s pretty much the case with all BtBaM albums.
The nice thing …
The nice thing about Alaska is that it displays that BTBAM creates a dichotomy of beauty and brutality.
I will have to …
I will have to agree with you on that one. This is my least favorite song on the CD probably, but it doesn’t ruin the CD at all.
Probably the worst …
Probably the worst song on Alaska, but the album is phenomenal so Croakies and Boatshoes is still a great song.
